Little Hands Learn - Unit Study Plans

Hello! My name is Vanessa and I am the creator of the LITTLE HANDS LEARN unit study plans. These plans were created with a love for hands-on learning and joyful homeschooling. They are designed for ages 2-7 years and are Montessori inspired and also include Charlotte Mason art and nature study. Each month brings a new exciting topic and includes DIY hands-on materials with step-by-step lessons, a HUGE set of gorgeous printables, nature journal and more!

I believe that learning with play should be enjoyed in as many homes as possible and that is why I created a curriculum that is affordable and convenient for homeschooling families around the world.

My Occupational Background

I was a Pediatric nurse (RN, BSN) for almost two decades and currently I am a Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) on the Mom/Baby unit. Although, I consider my full-time job to be a homeschooling mom to my children. I homeschool my school-aged children with an eclectic combination of hands-on learning methods and also incorporate the Montessori method at home. I also absolutely love Charlotte Mason living books, nature and artist studies!

About Me

I am happily married to the man of my dreams and we live in a Ponderosa pine forest in Colorado. Both my children have special needs (dyslexia & diabetes type 1). Because of our journey with dyslexia, we have learned that the hands-on learning methods we share within the LITTLE HANDS LEARN unit studies and plans are incredibly helpful for children who have learning delays and special needs.

I take great joy in watching my own children and also your children discover the beauty of the natural world all around them and truly find this to be the most delightful journey I have ever taken.
